There’s a very simple phrase that will go a long way it’s, ‘I’m proud of you.’
I’m not sure if you came from a home or environment that gave you much affirmation. I know for a lot of people there is a huge lack of parents giving their children affirmation. There’s a lot of people who work in places where their bosses aren’t showing them an appreciation or affirmation from their work.
I’ve learned there’s a great power in letting people know, that I’m proud of them for what they are accomplishing. You have a great opportunity to impact someone, by simply letting them know you are proud of them. Take a moment and text, call, email, twitter respond, or write on someone’s facebook wall that you are proud of them today. Your simple invest will go a long stinking way.
